Hot Melt Adhesive Melt Pump
The hot melt adhesive gear pump is a positive displacement conveying device specifically designed for high-temperature, high-viscosity polymer melts. Its core structure comprises a pump housing, gear set, front and rear end plates, shaft sleeve, and sealing assembly. The pump housing is typically constructed from alloy steel or corrosion-resistant alloy materials to withstand high-temperature, high-pressure operating conditions.

The gear assembly comprises precision-machined drive and driven gears with straight or helical tooth profiles. Intermeshing generates shear forces to convey the melt. The shaft sleeve employs a self-lubricating melt design to prevent material contamination. Sealing arrangements commonly utilize spiral seals, packing seals, or combination seals to ensure leak-free operation under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

Flow output is regulated by adjusting gear speed, with pressure fluctuations controllable within ±1%. This makes the pump suitable for precision conveying applications involving hot melt adhesives, polymer materials, and similar substances.
