Reactor kettle melt pump
Bottom-discharge pumps for vacuum reactors are suitable for the reaction and transfer of high-temperature, high-viscosity polymer melts that require high discharge pressure, such as in the resin and synthetic fiber industries. They are typically installed at the bottom of the reactor and used as discharge pumps. These pumps feature a relatively large inlet design to facilitate high-flow feeding from the reactor bottom; at the same time, they possess good self-priming capabilities, making them suitable for the transfer and pressurization of polymer materials under vacuum reaction conditions.

Reactor melt pumps are typically installed at the bottom of the reactor and driven by a motor, reducer, and universal joint. Reactor gear pumps are positive-displacement, forced-delivery pumps; their output flow rate can be adjusted by changing the pump’s rotational speed. Variable-frequency speed control is recommended to achieve near-linear flow output from the gear pump.
Our company specializes in the manufacture of melt gear pumps and related products, offering reactor bottom discharge pumps with flow rates ranging from 5 cc/r to 12,000 cc/r. With extensive experience across multiple industries and various polymer production processes, we provide comprehensive pump selection, configuration, and solutions tailored to our customers’ specific operating conditions.
