Composition, Structure and Technical Characteristics of PP Sheet Extruder Melt Pump
The melt pump of PP sheet extruder, as a precise and stable pressure conveying equipment, is designed around the structure of "adapting to low and medium viscosity melts and ensuring measurement accuracy". The core components include:
1. Pump body and flow channel system: 38CrMoAlA alloy steel is used for nitriding treatment, with smooth and wear-resistant inner walls, suitable for PP melt working pressure of 15-25MPa. The flow channel is designed in a streamlined manner, with a smooth transition from the inlet to the gear meshing area, reducing melt retention and pressure loss, ensuring uniform plasticization of PP material.

2. Core transmission components: consisting of a pair of high-precision meshing gears, a main shaft, and a driven shaft. The gears adopt hard tooth surface grinding technology, and the tooth side clearance is controlled at 0.01-0.03mm. Through synchronous transmission, volumetric conveying is achieved to ensure stable PP melt flow and meet the requirements of uniform sheet thickness.
3. Drive and sealing system: equipped with a variable frequency reduction motor drive, which can accurately adjust the speed to match the extrusion volume; Adopting a dual end mechanical seal combined with high-temperature sealing liquid cooling, it can withstand temperatures of 200-250 ℃ during PP processing, preventing melt leakage and external impurities from entering.

4. Auxiliary monitoring components: Pressure sensors are installed at the inlet and outlet to monitor pressure fluctuations in the range of 15-25MPa in real time, and the data is fed back to the control system for dynamic adjustment; Some models have built-in temperature sensors to ensure that the pump body temperature is compatible with the extruder.
