Method for Controlling Pressure of High Temperature Melt Pump

The pressure control of the high-temperature melt gear pump is operated by a complete automation system, which we call the melt pump control system.

During equipment operation, certain materials are pressurized or depressurized according to their characteristics to achieve the goal of not damaging the material structure and not producing adverse reactions. However, the pressure control methods for high-temperature melt pumps mostly adopt a closed-loop approach, namely:

1. Calculate the values based on the pressure sensors set at the inlet and outlet, then arrange the variable frequency drive stroke closed-loop, and adjust the speed according to the value to achieve control purposes. If the pressure value is set in advance, it will automatically adjust to the corresponding setting value.

2. According to the inlet pressure value, the control system can provide feedback information to the extruder to drive and control the downward discharge of the extruder, thus achieving pressure control at the inlet of the high-temperature extrusion melt pump.

3. The temperature of the pump body can also be obtained through the pump body sensor of the high-temperature melt, allowing the heating equipment to react relatively and achieve temperature control to cope with pressure values that are too high or too low.

The above three methods are commonly used to control the pressure of high-temperature chemical melt pumps.
