In terms of material, the material mixed with metal particles, carbonized material and other hard foreign objects, into the pump will be stuck gears and other rotating parts.

In addition, the material in the pump curing, coking, such as temperature control is not appropriate, the melt in the pump temperature is too low and solidified, or the material stays for a long time to decompose the coking will block the flow channel, hindering the movement of parts caused by jamming.

Improper operation is also an important factor. Starting without sufficient preheating, the melt viscosity is large, increasing the resistance to rotation, may make the pump jammed.

During operation, the inlet material supply is insufficient, resulting in idling, so that the friction between the components intensified, the heat generated may make the parts deformed and jammed. And parking, not timely clean up the pump material, residual material solidification will also cause the next startup pump jammed.
